Well... (or should i say "UN-well" ?) I broke my wrist five days ago and am reduced to typing one-handed. Phooey! Looks as though I'll be on a 6-week blog vacation. but wait... UPDATE: It's true I can't type (much) but I can't seem to stop 1-handed drawing. Scroll down to see the series of "broken wrist tangles." Oldest ones are at the top, newer are farther down. *** July 3rd: waiting to heal. still can't type but doing some 1-handed tangles anyway. ![]() this was the first, called "broken," done on june 26, partly inspired by my vision of what's going on at the site of the break --playing with iphone app on "broken"-- ![]() iphone fun with that one--> ![]() a page from my journal on july 3rd Can't really type but don't want to stop drawing! UPDATE, JULY 11th: Let me check...oh wait...still broken. Here's the next in the series of "broken wrist" tiles... Here is the same tangle below, run thru an iphone app: UPDATE, July 12th: July 16th:
I did what you said and visited your older pages. Well, until the knitting part started. I love what you do with iPhone: kaleidoscope-ing, coloring, multiply, etc. I don't have an iPhone, but Photoshop. I was under the self-inflicted impression using a digital media is like cheating and I always announced it in the rare, guilt-ridden cases when I actually used it (also, showing before and after). Now you sort of 'legalized' it for me and I thank you for that. Guilt's flushed down the toilet.

ha!! glad i could contribute to your flushing the guilt. i've always figured that if i label what i'm doing, it's fine. i have a blog category called "iphone app on tangles" and all of my posts with altered tangles are there. i even post them on the Mosaic app (owned and run by maria and rick), labeling them #iphoneapps and no one has complained. glad to have a partner in crime!
