Initialing a new week

7/28/2014

Ahhhhhhhh...a new week.

This morning, since I've been away seven days, there is much to catch up on; but I thought I would begin with Diva Challenge #178, which involves choosing two tangles representing your first and last initials.  So here you have it:  the beautiful Dugwood, by Anita Roby-Lavery, and the very art deco Roscoe, by Vicki Bassett.  I had never worked with either tangle before, and have fallen in love with them both.

And now...on to all the piled-up chores!

Love it! I wanted to use roscoe but alas, it is not one of my initials.

Wonderful choices for tangles. They look great together and your tile is lovely. I like the color contrast too.

Hey, everyone--thanks! Your comments are so appreciated.

And yes, isn't that new Roscoe tangle just great? It took me a couple of tries but I totally love it. Thanks to Vicki Bassett!

I am not familiar with either of these tangles. They both work well together and the touch of color adds to the character of the piece.

Beautiful tile. I have never used either of these patterns, but I want to now. Your execution is lovely.
